What genuinely helps:

• Your suburb. Glenbrook and Blackheath are 900 metres apart in altitude and we come prepared for different problems at each.
• Roof type. Concrete tile, terracotta tile, old corrugated steel, modern Colorbond, or you are not sure.
• Roughly how old the roof is, or when it was last restored or repointed.
• What you have noticed. A ceiling stain, a drip, mortar crumbs in the gutter, moss on one side, a tile on the lawn, a limb down.
